OPEN BETA TOURNAMENT AND ELITE 36 REGULATIONS:

  1. PROMOTER COMPANY 

Data R1SE, in the person of its legal representative in charge, is the promoter of the “Open Beta R1SE” prize-giving contest (since now “Promoter”), the owner of the website www.r1se.com , as well as the owner of the verbal and figurative trademarks “R1SE”.

  1. DELEGATED PARTY  

The Promoter has delegated the A.S.D. R1SE, in the person of its legal representative in charge (since now “Delegate”), to represent it pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 5, co. 3, of Presidential Decree 430/2001, in the fulfillments related to the conduct of this Contest.

  1. TYPOLOGY  

The tournament stage is divided into 2 skill competitions. The two elements are set out below:

”Elite 36” tournament activity,

Skill competition, awarding prizes to competitors who are able to demonstrate their skills and talent in the use of the driving simulator “Assetto Corsa”, driving the cars identified from time to time, on the circuit indicated, under the conditions established by the Regulations.

”Open Beta Tournament” activity,

Skills competition, awarding prizes to competitors able to demonstrate their skills and talent in the use of the driving simulator “Assetto Corsa”, driving the cars identified from time to time, on the circuit indicated, under the conditions established by the Regulations.

  1. DURATION

”Elite 36” tournament activity, the Competition is held in 2 time phases:

1) Qualification: from March 18, 2023 to March 25, 2023.

Players will be eligible to participate in the Competition by attending at least one r1se event included in the time frame set forth above, and with a deadline of March 25 at 4:00 pm GMT.

2) Tournament, on April 2, 2023. 

This event, as well as these Regulations, will be published and will begin only after the required notification to FIDE – Italian Federation of Electronic Disciplines, within the timeframe prescribed by law.

”Open Beta Tournament” activity,

the Competition is divided into 4 stages:

1) Selection through Stage A.

Section takes place from March 26 to 28, 2023. 

The single race game, qualifying stage, is open from 16:00 until 24:00 ( last moment to enter the lobby )

2) Selection through stage B

The section takes place from March 29 to March 31, 2023 

The single race game phase, qualifying phase, is open from 16:00 until 24:00 ( last moment to access the lobby )

3) Selection through final Tournament activity ”Elite 36”

All players who enter the final competition of the “Elite 36” will be admitted to the final of the Open Beta Tournament.

4) Tournament, on April 2, 2023. 

This event, as well as these Regulations, will be publicized and will begin only after making the required notification to FIDE – Italian Federation of Electronic Disciplines, within the terms provided by law.

  1. OBJECTIVE OF THE COMPETITIONS.  

The contests are aimed at improving the testing of the R1SE organization platform, game flow, race direction, promoting the brands, services offered and events organized by the Promoting Company in the Esports field.

  1. RECIPIENTS  

In order to participate, it is necessary to be a resident of the ( European Continent ), identified with the following states: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, Czechia, Greece, Portugal, Sweden, Hungary, Belarus, Austria, Serbia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Slovakia, Norway, Ireland, Croatia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Latvia, Kosovo, Estonia, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Malta, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Holy See.

Such subjects (since now also “Recipients”) in order to participate in the Contest, during the period indicated in Article 4, will have to perform the registration process on the R1SE platform.  The Recipients in order to register will have to enter the necessary data for their identification required within the registration process, read the Information on the Processing of Personal Data, accept these Rules and the sports rules and follow the further instructions provided in the form or via e-mail by the Promoter. By doing so, Recipients will become participants in the Contest (since now also just “Participants”). The following are not eligible to participate in the Contest: employees of the Promoting Company and the Delegated Entity, freelance consultants of the Promoting Company, and all those who in any capacity have contributed to the implementation of the “Open Beta R1SE” event. 

Each Participant may register for each individual competition on the platform, without limitation of participation, but will be entitled to the award of only one prize: the same Participant may not, therefore, be the winner of more than one selection stage. 

All individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of registration and who: 

  1. 1. possess the following Hardware and Software requirements: 

1.a) SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • a valid license of the software “Assetto Corsa” (Kunos Simulazioni, 2014) vanilla, PC version; 

1b) HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • a PC equipped with the features required for the correct and smooth operation of the “Assetto Corsa” software, where it is understood to process at a minimum 24fps constant; 
  • an internet connection that does not exceed 150ms latency between game server/player; 
  • steering wheel and pedals or Joystick; 

The Promoting Company reserves the right to expel from its activities anyone who fails to meet each of these requirements for extended periods of time or repeatedly

  1. The Promoting Company reserves the right to exclude from any contest, at any time, any player who maintains inappropriate conduct toward the Company itself or other players, where the use of inappropriate or offensive language is also meant, or who attempts to manipulate the results of the tournament in order to benefit himself or others. In case of exclusion, if available to run will be retrieved the best player excluded, to whom a notice will be sent by email.

7.TYPES OF PRIZES UP FOR GRABS

In light of the Contest mechanics described in articles x) and x) below, the prizes up for grabs are listed below. 

Stage A

– Prize pool of € 5,000.00= (ten five thousand/00 euros)

Stage B

– Prize pool of € 5,000.00= (ten five thousand/00 euros)
100 open race
– Total prize pool of
€ 10,000.00= (ten ten thousand/00 euros)

Tournament activity ”Elite 36”

– Prize pool of € 15,000.00= (fifteen thousand/00 euros)

”Open Beta Tournament” activities

– Prize pool of € 35,000.00= (thirty-five thousand/00 euros)

The total value of the prizes thus identified is equal to the indicative amount of € 70,000.00= (euro seventy thousand/00); each prize is non-exchangeable and non-convertible into other goods or services.

  1. MECHANICS OF CONTESTS

”Elite 36” Tournament Activity.

The Competition will take place on the following dates:

1) Qualification: from March 18, 2023 to March 25, 2023.

Recipients will be eligible to participate in the Competition by attending at least one R1SE event included in the time frame set forth above, and with a deadline of March 25 at 5:00 pm.

2) Tournament, on April 2, 2023. 

The mechanics of the Skill Contest is as follows: in two phases (qualification, tournament phase) lasting 7 days for the first, and 1 day for the second.

Qualification,

1) Participants will be required to show their simracing skills through the Driving Simulator “Assetto Corsa” (Kunos Simulazioni, 2014); 

2) Participants will be able to register, as outlined above, through the website www.r1se.com , following the registration procedure and entering the required data to verify that they meet the participation requirements and that they conform to reality; 

3) Drivers will be required to participate in at least 1 driving session on R1SE, record their performance, and publish a reputable portion of it as a reel or video on Instagram. Publications in the form of stories will not be considered

Drivers can edit the video clip, extrapolating the session or moment of the race they prefer

4) You may post 1 or more videos, each to be addressed via Tag to the ambassador from whom you wish to receive evaluation.

5) The 3 ambassadors of the R1SE project (nominally: Simone Cunati, Rebecca Busi, Alberto di Folco) will choose, via social media, the drivers who most meet their criteria in terms of performance.

6) Ambassadors are evaluated through an analytical process of reviewing the posted performance, through which the individual ambassador, tagged in the post, evaluates the player’s performance based on his or her own critical sense as a professional pilot. 

7) Each ambassador selects 12 pilots, for a total of 36.

8) On 25/03 the selection stages will be closed at 16:00 GMT, a time after which the 3 ambassadors will no longer evaluate the proposed driving performance. The time and date of posting of the drivers’ videos will be decisive.

9) On 25/03, at 20:00 GMT, the 36 selected will be revealed in Live streaming.

 

Tournament Phase,

1) The tracks will differ from day to day and will be communicated 1 hour before the opening of the game platform via the media communication channels of the r1se project.

2)  It will be raced on Lotus evora GT cars.

4) The stage consists of 2 phases: participants who are selected in the qualifying phase will be invited to the Elite 36 tournament, held on 02/03

The tournament stage consists of:

– Stage 1, 2 lobbies of 18 players who will run in single race mode ( see sect.xx single race ) 

– Stage 2, 1 lobby composed of the 9 best drivers from the 2 lobbies of stage 1, based on the order of arrival.
– During stage A and B, 100 individual races with 100 euro prizes per race will be announced.
The times of these races will be announced 60 min before their start.

The pilots will run in single race mode

Prizes will be awarded to the 6 participants occupying the top 6 positions in the final results of Stage 2, following the allocation of penalties.

6) Participants, subject to the same participation requirements and game characteristics, will not be divided into categories; 

7) each competition will be moderated by competition direction system, all official results and penalties will be communicated and published through the rds system associated with the competition closing system; competition results are public

8) all stages of the Competition are conducted online on the R1SE platform and Assetto Corsa simulator, remotely, at the location chosen by the Participant, using hardware and software in its availability; 

  1. a) in addition to the requirements set forth in item x above, Participants are obliged to be equipped with appropriate hardware and software equipment, as well as a stable broadband Internet connection suitable to support the operation of the platform with a latency within the established limits;
  2. b) the Promoter shall not be liable under any circumstances for inefficiencies related to the malfunctioning of the Driving Simulator and/or the hardware and software equipment and/or the internet connection provided to the Participant; 

9) Individual races and tournaments are moderated according to the sports regulations available at r1se.com

Tournament Activities  ‘’Open Beta Tournament’’ 

”Open Beta Tournament” activity. 

The Competition will take place on the following dates:

– Stage A

All entrants will be given the opportunity to participate in skill trials according to the mechanics below. Entry opening and closing times may be subject to change, which will be promptly communicated by Promoter to Participants via the Site. Participation in the Contest is optional and free of charge, except for the necessary expenses for Internet access and hardware and software equipment required to participate, which remain the responsibility of each Participant.

The mechanics of the Contest are as follows:  

1) Participants will be asked to show their simracing skills through the Driving Simulator “Assetto Corsa” (Kunos Simulazioni, 2014); 

2) Participants will be able to register, as set out above, through the website www.r1se.com , following the registration procedure and entering the required data to verify that they meet the participation requirements and that they conform to reality;  

3) The Skills Competition consists of two open stages (A, B) lasting 3 days each, and 2 tournaments (1, 2) among the stage qualifiers, on different circuits, on the Lotus evora GT car ; 

4) The stage consists of 2 phases

– Stage 1:

participants can register, without limit, for individual races on the platform www.r1se.com 

race results entitle them to access the end-of-stage tournament.

Access parameters,

# Winning a single race. 

# Best lap time on the stage track. 

# Place in the top one of the single race. 

– Stage 2:

Participants who are selected in Stage 1 will be invited to the end-of-stage tournaments, identified as:

# Stage A tournament

# Stage B tournament.

The tournament stage consists of single knockout competitions.

The tournament phase will end at the compilation of the last stage of 20-participant competition.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants at the end of the last competition stage.

5)  each stage may be attended by all subjects duly registered, according to the schedule indicated in art. x below

6) the Participants, subject to the same participation requirements and playing characteristics, will not be divided into categories; 

7) each tournament competition will be moderated by competition direction system, all official results and penalties will be communicated and published via the rds system associated with the competition closing system; competition results are public

8) all stages of the Competition are conducted online on the R1se platform and Assetto Corsa simulator, remotely, at the location chosen by the Participant, using hardware and software in its availability; 

  1. a) The participants are responsible for being equipped with appropriate hardware and software equipment suitable for the execution of the same, as well as a stable and suitable broadband Internet connection to support its operation;
  2. b) the Promoter shall not be liable under any circumstances for inefficiencies related to the malfunctioning of the Driving Simulator and/or the hardware and software equipment and/or the internet connection provided to the Participant; 

9) Individual races and tournaments are moderated by the sports rules available on the website, at r1se.com

The sessions are open to all Participants who meet the requirements for participation in the Competition and who register through the Official Site during the period indicated above;

Operation of each single race

  1. The player who wishes to participate must have a valid R1SE account and log in
  2. From the R1SE system the player will then have to register for the race
  3. When the lobby opens, the player will have to show up for the race by entering the lobby through a vanilla and legally owned copy of Assetto Corsa
  4. The race is created automatically by the R1SE system. The player does not have to create any sessions or change any settings; he/she simply has to take part in the scheduled sessions.
  5. The player can use the control platform he/she prefers (full simulator, steering wheel and pedals, joystick, pad, keyboard…) as long as it is properly functioning and well set up
  6. Each lobby will consist of a maximum of 20 players
  7. The qualifying phase will last x minutes, the final position in qualifying, determined by the best single lap of each arranged in ascending order, determines the starting grid. ( X value will be revealed 12 hours before the start )
  8. The race has an expected duration of x laps ( X value will be revealed 12 hours before the start )
  9. The race is moderated by stewards and the RDS system owned by R1SE
  10. At the end of the race, the final standings will be developed, following the closure of all open cases and the assignment of penalties.

(c) There is no limit to the number of single races a Participant may run in each Stage, as long as they are run within the indicated opening period. Single races performed after the indicated closing date will not be counted; 

(d) winners of a single race gain access to the Tournament Stage; winning additional races does not give access to additional benefits. The highest ranked driver among those who have not yet qualified for the tournament phase gains access to the tournament regardless of his or her placement in the competition.

Therefore, anyone who is the winner of a previous competition will be automatically excluded from the database of Participants and will have no further chance of receiving a placement in the finals since he/she will already have one.

  1. d) A ranking will be drawn up for each category, Europe and North America, based on the best lap times set by the Participants. The rankings will be final once the above deadline for each Hotlap session has expired. 
  2. e) Winners of a stage tournament will not be eligible for selection to enter other stage tournaments;
  3. f) winners of a stage tournament automatically enter tournament 1;
  4. INDIVIDUATION OF WINNERS and AWARDING OF AWARDS OF THE ABILITY COMPETITION. 

10.1) Identification of Winners: 

A winner shall be deemed to be the one who, at the end of a race declared regular and completed, following the awarding of all penalties and recalculation of results, is the one with the shortest time taken to cover the given distance.

In multiple races and tournaments, those who, at the end of a race declared regular and completed, following the allocation of all penalties and recalculation of results, result as the xxx with the shortest time taken to cover the given distance are considered qualified for the next round.

The winner of the tournament shall be considered to be the one who, at the end of all scheduled races, correctly and lawfully qualified for each session, following the assignment of all penalties and recalculation of results, results to be the one with the shortest time taken to cover the given distance in the final race.

Identification of winners by specific competition:

Elite 36 competition: 

Based on the closing of the Elite 36 tournament phase, the RDS team will validate the competition and draw up a final ranking.

This ranking will be validated by the sports and legal team of the R1SE project.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 drivers, by placement in the final.

Open Beta competition: 

Based on the closing of the Elite 36 tournament phase, the RDS team will validate the competition and draw up a final ranking.

This ranking will be validated by the sports and legal team of the R1SE project.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 drivers, by placement in the final.

 

Awarding of prizes:  

  1. At the time of drawing up the ranking list referred to in paragraph xx.x) above, the Promoter will collect the data of the finishers of each tournament and identify the designated winners in order to carry out the necessary verifications pursuant to these Rules;
  1. b) within 30 days from the date of the identification of the designated winners, the Promoter will contact the Winners by e-mail, at the contact details provided during the registration for the Contest, informing them that they are prize winners. Through the e mail communication, Promoter:

(i) will send the designated winners the document, to be completed and signed by them containing the statement of acceptance of the prize, in which the designated winner shall also indicate the shipping address of the prize. The prize will be sent by mail or courier, so Participants are hereby requested to indicate the above address correctly;

(ii) will ask the designated winners to send the aforesaid document within 10 days of the request to the Promoter, under penalty of forfeiture of any legitimate claim to the prize awarded. This document must be transmitted via e-mail only and exclusively to the address indicated by the Promoter, following the instructions provided, together with a copy of a valid identification document (front/back);

  1. c) within 10 days of receipt of the email from the designated winner, the Promoter will verify the documentation received from the designated winners and their identity;
  2. d) in the event of a positive outcome of the verification and in the absence of violations of the rules contained within these Rules that may result in their exclusion, the Promoter will confirm to the winners, within 10 days, the right to the award of the prize;  
  3. e) within the same time limit referred to in the preceding point, in the event of a negative outcome of the verification, and/or in the presence of violations of the rules contained within these Regulations, and/or in the event of failure and/or incomplete sending of the communication by the designated winner within the prescribed time limit and/or in the event of rejection of the prize, the designated winner will be excluded from the contest and will lose the right to the final award of the prize;

(f) in the event of one or more exclusions for any reason whatsoever, in the event of non-acceptance of the prize by the designated winner, or in the event of exclusion of the same determined by the failure and/or late response to the communications referred to in point (b) above, the corresponding prize will not be awarded

  1. g) The activity described in the preceding points will continue until all prizes are awarded.
  2. h) Prizes not awarded will be given within the time limit to the next player in order of ranking.
  1. RACE DIRECTION.

Race direction is real-time and managed with the RDS system, which is owned by R1SE. All decisions made will refer to the sport regulations, which are public and available on r1se.com. The RDS manager is Leonardo Bernasconi

  1. DRAFTING OF THE MINUTES OF THE CLOSING OF THE CONTEST

Once the activities described in Articles 10) and 13) of these Rules have been completed, in the presence of an official of the Chamber of Commerce and/or a Notary Public, the minutes of the closing of the Contest will be drawn up.

  1. TERRITORY AND DATABASE OF PARTICIPANTS  

The Italian regulations of Presidential Decree No. 430/2001 on prize events apply to the Contest.  The Promoter declares that the management system, as well as the database collecting the data of the Participants, are hosted on servers located in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. 

The database of Participants is unique and is not distinguished for the two contest categories.  In particular, data related to all Participants and winners are collected and stored on servers located on xxxxxxxx owned by the company xxxxxxxxxx; for the collection of Participants’ data, the Promoter declares that a mirroring software system has been activated and will be kept operational at all times by means of which all data are stored on servers and databases located exclusively in Italian territory.

  1. FREE PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST 

Participation in the contest is free of charge.

  1. PLACE OF FILING OF THE REGULATIONS  

These Rules and Regulations in their official and signed version are kept at the registered office of the Delegated Person. A full copy of these Rules is available on the website and is in the possession of the Promoter.

  1. DATA PROTECTION LAW

The Promoter ensures the fulfillment of personal data protection obligations according to the applicable law (e.g. GDPR and UAE federal laws).
